There are plenty of foods high in healthy fats, just be careful not to overdo it. Nuts, seeds, avocado, coconut, oils are a few to make sure to have in your diet.Beahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01780758046093597394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2684840626058602319.post-26181320339426958132009-02-05T08:23:00.000-05:002009-02-05T08:23:00.000-05:00YUMMMMMMMY in the tummy Bea! Sorry, due to being sick, I didn't keep track of recipes and just threw together most of those meals. I did follow this recipe for the "cheesecake" though. I didn't have any cacao butter, so I just used extra coconut butter. I will definitely make that again!Beahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01780758046093597394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2684840626058602319.post-6212775304699031032009-02-04T17:12:00.000-05:002009-02-04T17:12:00.000-05:00Those foods look so yummy! I know the feeling -- you think you're going to be immune, but you're not quite and you get sick. Have you been using a netti pot? Also essential oils are great -- eucalyptus for breathing especially as well as peppermint and the citrus ones.

Sometimes simply not eating as much can help the body heal. Lemon as you mentioned is awesome. Here are some other ideas: citrus, kiwi, carrot, basil, garlic, onion, cilantro, greens, coconut oil ... things rich in vit C, beta carotene, and antibacterial/viral properties in general as well as just good nutrient rich foods (greens). :-) And of course plenty of rest ... hope you're feeling betterAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
